Foundations Bringing Fun to Kids with Disabilities

  • Sunshine Foundation - The Sunshine Foundation grants wishes for chronically and seriously ill kids, as well as kids with physical disabilities in addition to the terminally ill kids that most groups serve. They also grant wishes for kids up to age 21, not just up to age 18.

  • The Dream Factory of Greater Kansas City grants wishes to chronically ill children

  • The Starlight Foundation is a UK-based organization that grants wishes to chronically and terminally ill children and organizes hospital entertainment

  • Hugs and Hope Club - They send snail mail and holiday gifts etc to seriously ill kids. They also support the partents too.

  • Make a Child Smile - They are the same idea as Hugs and Hope

  • Starbright World is a fun multimedia community connecting thousands of youth with serious illness, allowing them to escape to a place of imagination, games and adventure

  • Friends Health Connection - A group that matches up people with similar illnesses as pen pals. They also have lectuers in the NJ area on all areas of coping with illness.
